Personal Accident Insurance (funded by NZRU)

All New Zealand rugby registered players, coaches, managers, administrators, medical professionals, and referees are automatically covered under the New Zealand Rugby Personal Accident Insurance.  This insurance provides compensation for the following:

  • Permanent total disablement
  • Permanent and incurable paralysis of all limbs
  • Permanent total loss of sight of both eyes
  • Permanent loss of sight in one eye
  • Permanent total losss of use or loss of two limbs
  • Permanent total loss of use or loss of one limb
  • Accidental death
