Pakuranga United Rugby Club (PURC) seeks the talents of a highly organised and attention to detail focused person to fulfil the role of Rugby Administrator. This is an exciting position will lots of challenges and variety that will play an integral part within a small hard working team to ensure all Club members and the wider community enjoy the sporting facilities and services PURC offers.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Rugby Planning– to assist in the planning of all Club’s annual activities, including recruitment and retention of players, expenditure of gear and equipment and that all activities are well organised and communicated.
- Rugby Operations – managing registrations, subscriptions, collation of team results, liaising with team managers and coaches on day to day issues, managing transfers and grounds etc.
- Club Communication – being the first point of contact for Club enquires, updating of website and newsletters, liaison with Auckland Rugby Union.
- Touch Rugby – to plan, co-ordinate and operate the Club’s Touch Rugby modules, including organising draws, grounds, referee’s etc
Reporting to the General Manager this position would suit candidates from a sports administration background, with a passion for rugby. You must have a good command of the MS Windows suite and strong written communication skills (i.e. writing background) would be an advantage.
With the World Cup next year and PURC hosting Scotland, this is an exciting time to join our team and showcase our Club to the world.
