 Why Clubs in Schools?

  • To provide a safe, supportive and winning environment for your students to have the opportunity to play rugby.
  • To provide a supportive structure for students who wish to be involved in rugby.
  • To create a group of parents and teachers to administer rugby in the school, instead of placing the burden of workload, succession and handover on one individual .
  • To share the rugby workload around a number of different people, effectively decreasing the administrative burden on the school itself.
  • To create better opportunities to attract players, coaches and funding through increased networks.
  • To increase effectiveness through pooling of resources.
  • To create strong links between schools and clubs, which can pay off for both sides.
  • To encourage parents to get actively involved in the students' lives.
